Badniks

A variety of robots produced by Dr Eggman. Most of them are modeled after animals; crabs, wasps and caterpillars for example. Unlike metallixes they're mass produced and not based off a specific person. Eggman continued to actively use them in his domination plots right up until SA1, but began to wane them out by the time SA2 rolled in. These days they've largely been replaced by Egg Pawns with only a handful of badniks few and far between. Most older badniks are powered by an animal battery.
