Elem is an underground village that had been established in the large cavern known as Lower Mobius directly below Robotropolis containing about thirty or so residents. Originally having been constructed as an emergency evacuation point for Mobotropolis, records of its location were strictly verbal. Entering it requires navigating through a maze of twisting tunnels that are inhabited by ratbots.
Buildings here are generally made of stone and clay. Electricity is very common and easily accessible, siphoned off from the city above, and most modern conveniences such as running water are readily available, including access to the green river within the Central Caves for cultivation purposes. What makes Lower Mobius inhabitable is a power stone that controls everything from air supply and climate to the electricity routing. Without the stone, the inhabitants would be forced to find shelter elsewhere.
