Tails' Workshop
Usually the first thing someone sees and comes to after leaving the Train Depot steps. The workshop rests upon a small steppe that juts out into the ocean, and is two stories tall. As a workshop, the ceilings on each floor are very high (to thropic scale) and it is carpetless: the floor is nothing but concrete. As the name suggests, Tails the Fox lives here, having built it from the ground up. In the back, one part of the workshop contains living quarters, commonly in a state of messy chaos, which contains a bed, hammock, couch, kitchen, and other necessary home furniture and supplies. The other, much larger part, is the actual workshop, with workbenches, spare parts, half-finished thingamajigs, you name it, it's there. There is also a hanger connected to the larger part of the workshop above and underground, which contains all of Tails' finished machines and vechicles, such as the beloved Tornado II, and The Seafox. The hanger opens out to a runway built into the cliff that juts out into the ocean, automatically designed for both liftoff and landing procedures. The double-row of palm trees, while real, are planted on mechanical hinges that angle them in a V formation, to make room for medium-sized aircraft. The runway itself is on a mechanical lifter, so that, despite the shortness of the runway, any plane lifting off is already angled upwards to catch more lift and not crash into the ocean or the cliff. Below all of this is a second hangar, connected to the first by an elevator and a hangar door built into the cliff. This supports marine vehicles, and doubles as a workshop for machines and devices far too large to fit in the workshop above. In case of an attack, the workshop is made out of durable material, mostly built into the environment, contains a prototype anti-robot alarm system, and a secret trap door leading to a tunnel that opens up somewhere in Mystic Ruins, small enough for Tails to get through but nothing bigger. A lock to the front door was recently added. Tails is planning to add weapon systems to the workshop.
